1. Minutes

The minutes of the last meeting were read and agreed.

2. Matters arising

Village Green Parking – Contact has been made with the Stanford family, but no further information available at the moment.

Flooding & Roads – SW emailed Andrew Wickham (KCC ward member) re the silted up drain pond in Knockwood Lane. She has received a response from Katie Morton, advising the work to clear the pond will be completed by late July.

Defibrillator – has arrived and installation is pending.

Queen’s 90th Birthday Celebration – at a previous meeting, following on from the lack of responses obtained from the party questionnaire, some councillors considered it more appropriate to join the celebrations with Challock. The Chair had declined this suggestion and said the Molash Party should go ahead. However, this was not clearly understood by all those present and Councillor Gibbins expressed her surprise and concern at not being kept informed. At this point Councillor Gibbins offered her written resignation to the Chair (subsequently accepted). The party is to go ahead in the village hall on Saturday 11th June. So far there have been in the region of 50 villagers accepting the invitation.
