MINUTES OF MOLASH PARISH COUNCIL MEETING

1. Minutes
The minutes of the last meeting were read and agreed.
2. Matters arising
Village Green Parking – The forms have been sent off to the Land Registry.
Signs – Awaiting quote for 3 signs (new design) for Pound Lane residents only parking area
Flooding & Roads – Shottenden Road – One job completed, the other is still flooding.
Defibrillator – Installation is nearly complete.
3. Planning
Foodari –KCC are awaiting a response to their letter regarding revised junction layout (Knockwood Lane/A252).
4. Correspondence
Appointment of Geoff Court to the Parish Council.
ABC Year book received
Joint Transportation Board meeting Agenda 13th September 16
To HSBC requesting further correspondence to be sent to the clerk
Local Councils annual return sent to auditors
5. Any other Business
A draft of the Molash calendar has been prepared, advertisers to be sought to cover printing cost.
Sewerage charges – There is a two year gap in electricity meter readings (bills calculated on estimates). Offgen to be contacted to ascertain the legality of this. A complaint is to be lodged to the local authority ombudsman re the validity of the ABC billing method.
Forester – a meeting with Challock is to be held on 22 September to discuss production costs
KALC – next meeting 21st September
Broadband – a resident has asked if there is any possibility of faster broadband for the village. It was not thought likely
